Kerala Piravi marks the birth of the state of ‘Kerala’ in India. On this occasion the spirit of Malayalam is dawned in the heart of every Malayalee. It is a proud moment since it is a commemoration of God’s own country.
Variety of programmes were conducted in the presence of Fr. Principal, staff and students and this function became vibrant when the ex. student of St.Xaviers Mr.Rahul Chakyar performed the traditional act performance of Kerala – CHAKYAR KOOTHU; a monologue and narrated a story from Mahabharata.
Rev .Fr. Aby, the administrator felicitated on this day and recounted the inner values of being a malayalee and all enjoyed the programme. All were proud to speak in Malayalam as a Keralite and the day was a remarkable one in the history of St. Xavier’s Public School.
