St. Xavier's group of Residential Schools are established and run by the Registered society TAPC (Trust for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children - India) having its registered office in Shillong, Meghalaya, India and having educational institutions in Shillong since 1980, at Chalantapara, Assam since 1998 and Angamaly, Cochin since 2001.

The Chairman of TAPC is Dr. C Varghese MA, B.Ed, MPhil, LLB, Ph.D, an eminent scholar and renowned educationalist having more than 30 years of teaching and administering experience. He is also visiting scholar of the Montclair State University, USA, and the pioneer in India in introducing, "Philosophical Counselling". he is a well - known resource person in India for in-service teacher training programme. The other registered members are intellectuals and eminent personalities from different walk of life. |
